Covenant of Love

Monte Cox is a great man.  I am lucky enough to be able to say with some authority that he is also a great teacher.  I am also fortunate enough to know that he is a great friend.

Several friends and I were lucky enough to be part of his Bible study where we got to sit at his feet (often literally) and talk about important things and ideas in the book of Ephesians.  From time to time, Monte is called on to speak about something like “Love” or “Marriage” and when he does, you shut up and listen because he is a wise man, with a wise wife whom we also got to know.

It was a treat to be in Searcy last weekend for Peace by Piece.  But when it came to deciding where to go for church on Sunday morning, Logan and I wanted to go to Downtown Church of Christ— home.

We were lucky enough to hear Monte, talk about love.  I implore you to listen to it on this Valentines Day.
