Thoughts from Mars Hill

From a sermon on June 27th, 2010

“You can use a guitar as a wiffleball bat and it works just fine…what if though, even though you’ve been told a guitar is to be used as a wiffleball bat…you gave the guitar to someone who knew how to use it?  You can use a guitar for a lot of things, but there is one thing that it was made for.  God can use you for a lot of things, but there are specific things, that you were made for, and when you do the thing you were made for, the thing that the voice inside is calling out for, you will hear the most beautiful song you’ve ever heard before.  It was a song created only for you…and it will never be played again.” – Shane Hipps
