Good Story of the Day

I feel like my blog has become the weird-o of the week story, and today is no exception.

I was at the bank yesterday .  For those of you who care it was the Arvest on Joyce in Fayetteville.  That has become my favorite Arvest branch.  MLK is too far, Springdale isn’t very friendly and Bentonville isn’t open when I get off work.  None of that is important.

Anyway, I am standing there, getting things taken care of when a gentlemen steps up next to me.  He makes a deposit and asks the teller to write down his new balance for him.  The teller does as instructed and slides the receipt to the man, who looked it over.  “Do I have any payments pending?” he asked.  “I feel like I might have a check or two out there.

The clerk looked it over saying, “Lets see you have several recent charges here.  Would you like me to read them off to you?”

“Yes. Please.”

“Okay you’ve got one here from Citgo for $32.74.  There is one for $12 from Pinera bread.”

“And an eight dollar charge from”  The man and the clerk both turned bright red and the man quickly exited the bank.

Its weird knowing people that buy internet porn eat at the same places you do.  Pinera will never be the same for me.

I’d like to propose the idea that it was “” and he had purchased cinnamon rolls for someone in his family.
